“We are in love with this place! I personally love all the fruit paletas that I have tried. The esquite is bomb too. They have a version with flaming hot Cheetos which will be the next thing I try. The shop attendants are friendly and the place is very clean. The decor is soo cute too with the old school paleta carts by the cashier. They offer a rewards program and other perks. Overall, it hits every mark on the Mexican sweet cravings:)”

“I ordered a small mangonada to go and it was 100% worth it! It was enough to share with someone else (even though I didn't). The service was quick and it was a nice shop to wait in. I can't wait to go back to try other treats on their menu!”

“Was going to pop into 7-11 to grab a pint of ice cream and luckily La Michoacana was right next door! I got three unique scoops instead of a Ben & Jerry's flavor I've had 16,000 times! So many fun flavors in scoop or paleta form. I went through three samples before deciding on coffee, churro, and mint Oreo cookie. So, so good!”

“Let me start by saying I am beyond impressed with their customer service, not a single time have I ever walked in and not felt welcomed; I am always greeted with such pleasure, that I always leave a TIP. Now, to the tastiness of this place, which is why you came to read the review. LOL Well, I've had esquites, tostilocos, tostiesquite, ice cream (tamarindo) and hot cheetos with cheese; all of them have had great taste and great portion. They definitely do not skimp on ingredients. I will try to take pics next time.”

“This is where we come for dessert after having dinner at Maria Bonita (check that place out, too!). I've had the guava, chocolate, and lemon pie ice cream flavors and all were very good! I probably won't order the guava again, as the frozen seeds are hard to chew, but it still has a great flavor. They have a ton of options, and you can sample them. It's never been too busy while I was there, and the staff is friendly.”

“My first time here and I told the kind woman who welcomed me to the store. She was so sweet to do a brief overview of what they offer in-store. I ended up going for the Mangochalada. This was SO BOMB. If you like sweet,tang,spice and mangoes...this is your treat to try! I love how there are many yummy options, and I hope to try the creamy/milky ice creams and palletas when I return! Mangochalada (small). It has mango slices, mango ice cream, tamarind candies, and chamoya (which is my first time trying!) SOO GOOD!”

“Great place, but they need to update their hours! Yelp says closes at 10, they were closed at 9. This has happened happened twice. Tonight says that they're open until 8:30, but they were closed at 8. It's become one of my family's favorite places, but if we can't go during their posted hours, we're going to have to go to another location. The location on Lyon's stays open until their actual posted business hours. Bummer bc the whole family wanted something tonight.”

“Great new spot in SCV! They have a wide range of flavors and it's all very delicious. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is there slow service. It's DMV slow. I understand they're new and they're probably a little short hand. But, if there's more than 5 people in line you can expect to wait at least 15 minutes if not more. I hope this place picks up the pace a little as we've gone twice this week and left once we saw a line knowing full well it was going to be awhile.”

“We found our new favorite spot in town!!! Family owned businesses. They have the BEST ice cream and paleta flavors, including grosella, which we cannot find at other Michoacanas. I got a tequila popsicle. It was very delicious not very sweet but full of flavors and lots of almonds slices. My boys got grosella, of course! They got very excited because this is a flavor that they only get when they go to Mexico”

“I love this place. An abundance of items all made fresh to your likings. The prices to the items are fairly decent and they're nice and warm welcoming there. Easy to find, right next to a 7/11 on Soledad canyon Rd. Their Esquite's are bomb as well as their sundae's and other ice cream related things. I recommend going here when you want to spend cheap and have a good snack! I love the Oreo one or the Strawberry Fresca, or kiwi strawberry for more of a fruit based bar. All the dairy ones are excellent as well!”
